第15回東アジア交通学会（the 15th International Conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies 2023）

佐々木邦明研究室のD2のPanさんが，9月4日～7日にマレーシアのシャー・アラムで開催された第15回東アジア交通学会国際会議に参加されました．

以下，Panさんのレポートになります．

From September 4th to 7th, I attended the 15th International Conference of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies 2023 held in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

I made a presentation titled “Study on the Effect of Area Division on Land and Population: A Case in Kofu Urban Area, Japan” at the conference.

After the presentation, the audience asked questions about research methods, population changes in the study area, and Japan’s land control policies. I answered and had further discussions with the questioners.

During the four-day conference, I also listened to the presentations of other scholars. They broadened the scope of my knowledge, and gave me information about the recent situation of transportation and development in other East Asian countries, which will greatly benefit me for my future research.

At the farewell dinner and award ceremony of the conference, the paper of sensei and I was fortunate to be awarded the Best Paper for Discovering Interesting Facts. This makes me very happy and inspires me to continue with more effort in my doctoral study.
